Private K-12 + Post-Secondary · Miami, FL · Est. 2007

An alternative approach for every learner.

Learning Links School House is a private, nonsectarian special education school in Miami for students with autism and differentiated learning styles — K-12 plus our post-secondary STEPS program.

The Approach

Four commitments that shape every school day.

These aren't values on a wall — they're how Learning Links has operated since 2007, and why families across Miami-Dade choose us for their children.

Whole-child philosophy

Academics, social-emotional growth, and therapy are woven together — never parallel tracks.

7:1 student–teacher ratio

109 students, 16 classroom teachers. Every child is truly known by name, strength, and goal.

In-house therapies

Speech, OT, Alert Program (sensory), PE, Martial Arts, and Art — all on campus, all state-licensed.

K-12 + Post-Secondary

One community from kindergarten through adulthood — including our STEPS transition program.

Programs

Four pathways, one community.

Every pathway shares the same commitment to individualized programs and high expectations — adapted for where each student is and where they're growing toward.

Grades K – 5

Elementary

Foundational literacy, numeracy, and social skills through multi-sensory instruction — Reading Milestone, Touch Math, Handwriting Without Tears — tied to each child's IEP.

Grades 6 – 8

Middle School

Deepening academic content and building self-advocacy, executive function, and social-emotional skills for the transition into high school.

Grades 9 – 12

High School

Differentiated academics aligned to Florida standards alongside career exploration and early transition planning for post-secondary life.

Post-Secondary · STEPS

STEPS Transition Program

Our signature post-secondary pathway: vocational training, daily living skills, and community integration designed around each young adult's goals.

Therapies & Specialists

A full therapeutic team, on campus.

Learning Links keeps therapy in-house so students never miss instruction to receive services — and so therapists collaborate daily with the teachers who know each child best.

Leadership

Meet the directors.

Learning Links was founded in 2007 by two educators who believed there had to be a better way. Eighteen years later, they still lead the school they built.
